All full-time personnel may be eligible for professional leave consistent with the State Board of Education Regulations and with the policies of the District Board of Trustees. Professional leave may be granted at any time.

Professional leave may be granted for purposes of attending meetings of professional organizations, workshops, and short courses not lasting more than a week.
