Title: Procedure for Performance Appraisals

This procedure aims to maximize the potential of each employee by evaluating and acknowledging performance, accountability, and job knowledge to set and achieve objectives.

Regular Non-Bargaining Unit Employees

The annual performance appraisal period for regular non-bargaining unit employees is July 1 – June 30 and shall be administered to the employee on or before August 31. For further information, refer to the performance appraisal manual.

  1. Employees complete their self-assessment between May 1 and June 30. On the first business day after June 30, the completed or blank self-assessments will automatically advance to the supervisor for their review and to complete the supervisor portion.
  2. Supervisors complete and administer the annual review on or before August 31.


Bargaining Unit Members

The performance appraisal of bargaining unit members shall be completed on or before May 31. Academic Affairs will create additional procedures and guidelines for appraisals and observations.
