1. The president or designee, will prepare, publish and distribute policy and procedure statements in compliance with the Federal Crime Awareness & Campus Security Act of 1990. These policy and procedure statements shall be made available from the Office of the Vice President of Student Services upon request to students, employees, prospective students and the higher education community. Policy and procedure statements shall be issued covering the following areas:

  1. Procedures for students to report criminal activities;
  2. Security at campus facilities;
  3. Availability and authority of campus security;
  4. Programs available to inform students about security and prevention of crime;
  5. Recording of crime through local police agencies; and
  6. Possession, use and sale of alcohol and drugs.

2. The president or designee, shall prepare, publish and distribute reports that identify the occurrence of crimes on each campus and the number of campus arrests for crimes specified in the Federal Crime Awareness & Campus Security Act of 1990. Reports shall be prepared annually and shall include statistics from the preceding 3 years. Reports shall be made available from the Office of the Vice President of Student Services upon request to students, employees, prospective students and the higher education community.
