Legal Notice - Meeting May 19, 2026

Pursuant to Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees Policy 6Hx-18-1.02, the District Board of Trustees of Palm Beach State College will hold its regular public meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Multi-Media Board Room, LGA 139, on the Loxahatchee Groves Campus of Palm Beach State College, located at 15845 Southern Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470.

Palm Beach State College complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Individuals with disabilities requiring special accommodations or assistance should call the College at 561-868-3501 with such need at least three (3) business days in advance.

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with § 286.011(8), Fla. Stat., on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., the District Board of Trustees for Palm Beach State College will hold a shade session at the Palm Beach State College Loxahatchee Groves Campus, located at 15845 Southern Boulevard, Loxahatchee Groves, Florida 33470, to discuss collective bargaining strategy and terms related to the College’s negotiations with its bargaining unit.

The shade session will be attended by the District Board of Trustees and Ava L. Parker, President; Geovanni Denis, General Counsel; James Duffie, Vice President of Finance and Administration; Michael Pustizzi, Chief Human Resources Officer; Barb Matias, Human Resources Director; and a designated certified court reporter.

Notice is hereby given that a bargaining session between Palm Beach State College and the United Faculty of Palm Beach State College is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus, Center for Bachelor’s Program, CBP 321, 4200 Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida 33461.

The negotiation session relates to the terms of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. In accordance with Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, this session is open to the public. A simulcast of the negotiation session will be available for public viewing at the following hyperlink:

Notice of Public Meeting - Course & User Fee Adjustments

The Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees will be considering course and user fee adjustments at its next regularly scheduled meeting on May 19, 2026, at 4:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room, LGA 139, on the Loxahatchee Groves Campus of Palm Beach State College, located at 15845 Southern Boulevard, Loxahatchee Groves, FL 33470

The Finance and Administration Departments compile a collection of fees which are assessed and collected on behalf of the College. Below is a list of fees that are changing primarily due to additional costs incurred for services that are passed to either a student or our community users. 

Course Material fees are periodically reviewed to determine if increases or reductions should be recommended. The following course material changes for consumables (materials), hazardous waste removal, software licenses, and replacing broken tools have been evaluated.
