Earn a portion of your college expenses through part-time employment.


Federal Work-Study

Requirements  

  • Indicate your interest in a work-study position on your FAFSA form. Funding is needs-based.   
  • Register for a minimum of 6 credit hours in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid.   
  • Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.  
  • Meet the requirements of the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.

Job Listings  

  • About 250 students are employed in work-study positions on campus each year. 
  • Both on-campus and off-campus jobs are available.  
  • Community service roles and work related to each student's course of study are encouraged.  
  • The current wage is $13. The amount may be higher depending on the type of work and skills required.

 

How to Apply for Work-Study Jobs   

  • Log in to the Workday student portal. In the global search bar, type "find jobs" and click on Find Jobs – Student Jobs Report when it appears. 
  • In the search bar within this report, type “student employment” and press enter. 
  • Click on the returned result titled Student Employment in blue text.

Florida Work Experience Program  

The Florida Work Experience Program is a needs-based program providing eligible Florida students with work experiences to complement and reinforce their educational and career goals. Students must meet and follow the steps listed above for the Federal Work-Study program.
