Request or Submit Transcripts

Note: Diplomas are not accepted as proof of high school completion or in place of transcripts.

Florida Public High Schools and Charter Schools
Transcripts must be sent to PBSC electronically via FASTER (Florida Automated System for Transferring Educational Records).

Out of State Public Schools and Private Schools
Transcripts must be sent via secure PDF directly from the school official to admissions@pbsc.edu. Transcripts should be complete and show all final grades and the final graduation date, if applicable.

Alternate Methods of Sending
The methods listed above are preferred. If needed, school officials may mail transcripts to the following address:

Step 1: Students should download, print and complete the Home Education Graduation Affidavit form.

Step 2: Please email the completed and notarized form as a PDF to admissions@pbsc.edu.

Florida GED
Students must complete an online request for Florida GED Transcript. Transcripts must show a graduation date to be considered complete and official.

Out of State GED
Students must contact the Department of Education in the state where the GED was earned to request a transcript. Transcripts must be sent directly to admissions@pbsc.edu. Transcripts must show a graduation date to be considered complete and official.

Private and Out of State Public Universities/Colleges
Transcripts may be sent via secure PDF directly from the issuing institution school official to transcriptevaluation@pbsc.edu.

Transcript Evaluation Information

• Transcripts should be complete and show all final grades and a graduation date, if applicable.
• A student's transcripts will only be evaluated after all required transcripts have been submitted from all institutions attended.
• Students applying to one of PBSC's limited access programs (nursing, firefighter, EMT, etc.) must ensure transcripts are submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the specific program application deadline to ensure timely review.

Palm Beach State College only accepts educational records from outside the United States of America in the following formats:  

• Original educational records: Upon request, Admissions staff will make copies and return original documents to applicants in person.
• Certified copies of educational records: Copies need to be certified by the U.S. Consulate or the Ministry of Education in the applicant’s country.

Documentation of completion of post-secondary education
Submission of college transcripts from post-secondary institutions outside the United States is optional. To be considered for credit evaluation, applicants must have a course-by-course commercial evaluation completed by an approved agency. A current list of approved agencies is located at NACES.org/members. Applications for agencies such as Joseph Silny and Associates, Inc., or World Education Services can be accessed directly. 

 

F-1 Visa / I-20 International Students
International students applying for the F1 Visa / I-20 should contact PBSC's Office of International Admissions at international@pbsc.edu or review the PBSC Application Guide for International (F-1) Students.
